The government has just announced proposed measures to ban wheel clamping on private land. Parking Control Services welcomes legislation regulating private land wheel clamping companies and as a member of the British Parking Association adheres to the BPA code of practise relating to clamping activities.
Together with the British Parking Association, Parking Control Services is strongly committed to driving “cowboy” clampers out of the industry and will be working hard with the government to achieve this.
The Parking Controls Services managing director said” we have been campaigning for a long time to drive out clampers who are not members of the British Parking Association because they don’t comply with the industry standard”. He went on to say that we will continue to manage our clients land either through legislated clamping or Parking Contravention Charge Notices depending on continued talks with the government.
